Hey guys, I figured we should open an embassy here since we have some former GPA members in our Alliance.

Hey, So educate (us, namely me, who are more dipmolatically candy-capped) what's Sparta all about?

Of course, Sparta is for now an alliance minding their own business. The focus is on heavily investing in economic growth where the best ROI is for the alliance as a whole.

Defense is mostly in the form of nukes, which are cheap and efficient as a detterent. Basicaly, if someone attacks, he get hits with 3 counter attacker that will do only one thing, nuking.

Sounds like a painful deterrent.

I guess it is, but the fear from it itself seems to be enough as we hardly have any wars. Well, we didn't had any in the past month as far as I can tell.

That's amazing. Post here when you nuke a nation next. hehe

Hopefully that won't happen but I'll make sure to post the results here if we ever get in a conflict. Also, I would appreciate my Foreign Diplomat tag, he he gotta use them as I created them

Things have been peaceful. No attacks, though there are more regulations on resource minimums. Same old, same old.

Who adds the tags anyway?

Com on guy's I'm not GPA anymore and still know the answer to that . Any current gov of GPA can add tags. It's not a job attributed to anyone in particular as far as I know. Although it would make sense that each department attribute the tags specific to them.

Same old same old he, It's good to be prepared. I have heard of a few rumors about a March let's roll GPA again... so I guess it's for the best ! Let's hope it doesn't happens though. Meanwhile, you guys can benefits from our super cheap offers on the market !

Adding tags goes in a hierarchical way: Every level can only edit their own, or those below them. Triumvir > Director > Members. So a member can't edit a Director's, and a Director can't edit a Triumvir's.

Technically, it's the Foreign Affairs job to add diplomat tags. Alliance tags can be requested by members in the Official tags thread: https://gpapw.forumotion.com/t593-gpa-official-tags

Or they can request them from me through PM if they wish.

He's been having some real-life stuff to deal with, so he's been on vacation mode for a while.

Oh I see ! I couldn't even find his Nation, though he quit or something. So how are things going in here these days ? Is the military build up going good ? We got cheap Spartans goods if you guys need.

A sudden and violent influx of raiders just happened, so nothing outta the ordinary. Otherwise things are going pretty decent.

Glad to hear everything is going smooth. With the war we in Sparta also expect seeing lots of pirates. I guess it's inevitable when Nations with lots of cities loses too much infra. There isn't many ways to deal with them except by outgrowing their preferred war range, unfortunately...

Yeah, fully militarized nations fighting only partially militarized nations, not a good combination
For us, it wasn't even an escalation of raiders however, just one day "SURPRISE!" and a whole bunch of raids started afterwards. So if they decide on Sparta, I doubt there will be any signs.

Hi, how are you guys doing at Sparta?
Things have been pretty calm here at the GPA.
Patrick (BuySomeChips) took over as Triumvir.
I'm sure he'll be up for the challenge, like his predecessor Godfrey was.
We'll have the ToMA election soon, if I'm not mistaken.
Lemme just say that your alliance looks pretty badass.
You guys have a 12+ city requirement for membership application?
Or am I confusing you with TS or some other alliance?
I'm asking this, coz, last time I checked, you guys had the highest average score on Orbis.
Well, now there's Faendal's alliance, but I'm not counting that one, coz I'm pretty sure he's still allied to himself.
I'm only taking medium/big alliances into consideration here.

Good to see Sparta stepping up the ladder! You guys got less than 20 members before and now you also jumped on top rankings for score too.

I just wonder that Sparta did sign some treaties lately with other alliances like VE. It makes me curious now you're getting out of your sole superpower nuclear and economic build up environment...And you guys now also join the complicated web treaties.

Are we gonna see now the armageddon of nuke rains if there's a major war?

No that's us, but a couple of our recent applicants haven't fit the bill but still got in so it doesnt seem to be a rigid rule.

Ya, last time I checked, you guys and Alpha were pretty close in the avg. score department.
But you were slightly ahead; not sure how it is now.
I'm new in P&W and the GPA.
But in the month I've spent on this forum, I didn't see Faendal once.
According to other GPAers, Faendal never really got involved in GPA business.
Godfrey will be able to tell you why he stepped down.
I'm not sure why, but at least he's still a Director.
As for St. Patrick's 2.0, bring it on!
