TV shows I've watched...
The list is alphabetised for convenience and the images link to their respective IMDb pages. Some shows I've included despite no longer following, but feel I had watched enough to warrant listing, such as American Dad, Family Guy and Hawaii Five-O.
My favourite show would of course be Game of Thrones. Hannibal would probably come in second place, with other top favourites being Breaking Bad, Fargo, House of Cards and Sherlock. More recently I also thoroughly enjoyed binge-watching Stranger Things on Netflix.

Season 2 of Narcos was recently added to Netflix which reminds me I'd forgotten that I'd watched Narcos (season one). I quite enjoyed season one of Narcos, don't know how I forgot about it; I've added it to my original list.
Word of mouth is season 2 is good. Might wait till I have a few days free lined up to binge watch it.

Walking Dead, Ink Master, a lot of 'adult' cartoons, and pretty much any news channel.
If you include only the regular cable channels (not Netflix, etc.) then I think an argument can be made that the quality of TV has plummeted in recent years. My family switched to a new fiber-optic service last year -- locking in for two years, unfortunately -- and we watch less TV than ever, and that includes my 11-year-old.

The only shows I have watched recently are Steven Universe and Stranger Things. They are pretty good shows tho, I suggest checking them out.
